2012 Christmas Interior

I was going to wait until at least Thanksgiving was over to post anything related to Christmas decor, but...I could not resist!  To be honest, I had most of the Christmas decorations up mid October.  Last year, everything was up beginning of November and I thought that was early.  It seems Christmas makes its way earlier every year.
Anyways, here are a few pictures of just a few of my Christmas decorations around the home.

Stairway Handrail

I got this white prelit, crystal beaded garland at Costco.  I nearly fell over in love when I saw this garland!  I added the gold bows for a touch of POW.  I'm thinking I might want to keep the garland minus the bows on our stairway year round.  I dunno, just thinking....

Entry Console

This is right below our stairway handrail.  Silver and gold.  I didn't spend a dime on this area.  These are all decorations I had from past Christmas' and things lying around the house.  I discovered that wine glasses make great vases for decoration.

We have a lot of wall nooks around the home.  It's usually frustrating trying to figure out how to fill in these areas of the home... Unless, it's Christmas time.  To me, nooks mean more room for decoration and creativity.

Wall Nook #1

The poor man's Christmas tree.  Naked branches, small vase, and cheap ornaments.  I can't decide whether I want to spray the branches white or not.  White would look crisp, don't you think?  Or do I like the dark contrast as it is?  Hmm....can't decide.

Nook #2

Pillars of balls.  This lil nook is right by our Christmas tree.  I thought the pillars of pink ornaments complimented our tree which also have pops of pink.

The Christmas Tree

My first ever 7ft WHITE Christmas tree!  There's no way to photograph the tree and bring out it's true beauty!  I gaze at our lit tree quite frequently throughout the day and I bet you my eyes begin to twinkle and I smile without even knowing it.  Yeah, it takes me to that warm fuzzy place.  It's so....beautiful and feminine.  I don't know how to describe it...it just makes me happy.

As you can see, I'm ready for Christmas.
I still like to research Christmas decor and see how I can incorporate more.  For the remaining days until Christmas, I'm planning on Christmas crafting!  Martha Stewart has plenty of ideas to offer.  One project I want to try out is this creative card display.
